Hi
Hi there, I’m Emilie Leduc, a freelance illustrator based in Montreal.
I completed my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design at the University of Québec at Montréal (UQAM) in 2010. Before that, I earned my college diploma in Animation from Cégep du Vieux Montréal in 2005.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a computer graphics designer, in-betweener, and animation artist on several TV series. Now, I’m focusing on my passion for illustration and book writing. I mostly work with color pencils but depending on the project, I may use digital tools such as Concepts app or Procreate. My last book, La soupe au lait was made using Prismacolor on Fabriano paper. It was a very long process (My neck is still sore; I have to find myself a better posture.)
I will probably make a post for the behind-the-scenes of this book, but here is an example for now!
If you have a project in mind, please let me know. I’d love to bring your ideas to life with a unique artistic touch!
